Angkor Golf Resort wins award “Best Course in Cambodia” for the second year in a row.
The annual Asian Golf Awards were given out during the 9th Asian Pacific Golf Summit, hosted at the award-winning Orchid Country Club in Singapore.
In a country full of beautiful golf courses, three were nominated to be chosen for the award of “Best Course in Cambodia 2015”. Nominees included Siem Reap’s Phokeethra Country Club and Angkor Golf Resort and the Grand Phnom Penh Golf Club in Phnom Penh.
With the standard of quality maintained at the golf course, it might come as no surprise for many that Angkor Golf Resort has claimed the award for the second year in a row.
“To win the prestigious award for 2 consecutive years is a great achievement and something we as a team are extremely proud of. It not only helps to put Cambodia on the golfing map but shows that we are consistently providing a 1st class golfing experience to guests who visit the resort. In 2015 we made improvements to the clubhouse facilities and services, opened our Golf Academy headed up by PGA Head Professional Alan Martin and the golf course maintenance continues to go from strength to strength. We look forward to further improving our services in 2016” said David Baron, Director of Golf at Angkor Golf Resort
