Cambodia Golf Today Issue 12: September – October 2016

Welcome back to the 12th edition of Cambodia Golf Today, the leading golf magazine in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Did you get a chance to watch golf at the Olympics? I sure did and man-oh-man, what a spectacle! From that hole-in-one by Justin Rose on the first day and his thrilling duel with Henrik Stenson for the gold to seeing Inbee Park cruise her way to the top and another duel between Lydia Ko and Shanshan Feng for the silver medal, everything was just epic!

Ly Hong made history once again at the Angkor Amateur Open by becoming the first person ever to retain the title in the eight years of its existence. Trailing behind the leaders after the first day and with his championship on the line, the crafty left-handed golfer showed tremendous composure and shot the lights out in the final round to narrowly capture his third Angkor Amateur Open title. Congratulation to the man for his well deserved victory.

After spending a lot of time on the golf courses in Cambodia these past few years, we noticed that not everyone is completely aware of the golf etiquettes. Thus, we bring you the unwritten rules of golf. Read the article inside for more information.

Lastly, enjoy reading Cambodia Golf Today and please tell us what you think of the magazine through the contact page of this website.

Until next time, keep driving straight!
