Cambodia Golf Today Issue 20: February – March 2018

Welcome back to the 20th edition of Cambodia Golf Today, the leading golf magazine in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

It’s been a long road, but we’ve finally hit 20 issues! Everything up to this point has been made possible because of your supports and I just want to sincerely say thank you on behalf of the team here at Cambodia Golf Today. We hope to be able to continue being a part of the growing golf industry of Cambodia for the foreseeable future.

2017 was a year full of incredible stories. We saw the rise of Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth avoided another potential meltdown to win the 146th Open Championship in dramatic fashion. We also saw Shanshan Feng became the first Chinese player ever, male or female, to ascend to the rank of world number one after claiming back-to-back victories at the Blue Bay LPGA. However, the most exciting thing for me personally was the return of Tiger Woods at the Hero World Challenge. Let me tell you something, he looked really good. If 2017 is any indication of what’s more to come, 2018 is going to be another exciting year.

Golf in Cambodia also ended 2017 on a high note with the largest event of the year, The Samdech Techo Prime Minister Cup. The two-day event was attended by over 200 golfers in the Kingdom which include the Prime Minister of Cambodia himself and various other high ranking government officials.

Last issue, we covered the topic of the evolution of golf ball. This time, we’ll be taking a look at the modern golf ball. With virtually limitless options to choose from in the market, it could be difficult to decide when buying golf balls to use on the course. We’ve provided some information that could help you pick out the right tool for your game. Read the article inside to find out more.

Lastly, enjoy reading Cambodia Golf Today and please tell us what you think of the magazine through the contact page of this website.

Until next time, keep driving straight!
