Feb 28 – City Golf First Competition 2016

Following the schedule of every 3 months an event at City Golf, it was now time for the City Golf First Competition 2016. 36 players showed up to test their skills on 2 rounds of 9 holes of this beautiful short course.

You could say that the outcome was not that unexpected as  it was the record winner of City Golf competitions, Ly Kea who won the first competition of 2016. After 2 editions where he missed out on first place to respectively Samdech Hun Sen (Oct) and Dr. Reid Sheftall (Dec) he claimed back the first place with a total score of 4 under.

Previous winner Dr. Reid had -4 on his scorecard when he arrived at his last hole (hole #5) but the golfing gods decided it was not going to be his day and after his tee shot the ball rolled back into the water with a double bogey as result the third place in the competition was what`s left.

Thor Chetha was eventually runner up with a very respectable score of 3 under at the City Golf First Competition 2016. The hole in one prize sponsored by BMW was yet again not won by any player and we keep on waiting for that first player who will achieve that.
