On the 19th of November, City Golf hosted its first 27 Hole Challenge which proved to be a successful experiment. Players were ranked by gross score, from 1 to 48 with Flight A’s winner being the number 1 ranked, Flight B’s winner being the number 16 ranked and Flight C’s winner being the number 33 ranked.
Seng Vanseiha was on fire, rolling in ten birdies and dropping only two shots for a nice score of -8. Kem Samrach also got the birdie fever as he captured six of his own without dropping any shots for the first runner-up position in Flight A while Ly Hong took second runner-up with a score of two under par.
Flight B winner was Moung Sela. She had a great day on the par 3 course and carded a score of +4 for the three rounds. First runner-up went to Mr. Georges who also had a four over while second runner up went to Kinal Hout, also shooting four over par in three rounds.
Flight C’s winner, the 33 ranked player in the event, was Chhay Ly with a score of +12. First runner-up at +13 was Bun Leut while second runner-up honor went to Som Boreirak who also produced a score of +13.
City Golf’s General Manager, Ly Kea, did his usual great job as always and the event was enjoyed by all the players.
